Welcome to the Bethany Village blog! My name is Dave Morgan. I oversee information technology throughout Graceworks, which includes planning for and adopting new technology that keeps us on the leading edge.
In addition to its medical applications, technology also supports the service departments that keep facilities like Bethany running smoothly. Technology boosts efficiency and productivity among our employees, which fosters the personal fulfillment and job satisfaction that enable us to create a sense of home for our residents. And, of course, technology makes this blog possible, too!
Although high-tech hardware and software, plus all the related bells and whistles, may seem cold and distant on the surface, in reality, the sophisticated computer systems we have here at Bethany, for example, deeply enhance our ability to care for others. It’s that feeling of caring that prevails throughout the organization that attracted me to Graceworks. Caring – it’s not just a word here. It is genuinely felt.
Before joining Graceworks in late 2010, I had worked in other industries and health care sectors. When people ask me why I chose a job in long-term care, I like to say long-term care chose me. We are making a difference in the lives of our residents, and I wouldn’t trade this opportunity for the world.
My wife and I live in Monroe, Ohio. We have a blended family of five children. We also have two delightful grandchildren, ages 2 and 4. I have a black belt in karate and was an avid runner until a knee injury slowed me down. My other passion is playing guitar and bass in my church’s praise band.

It’s popular here at Bethany Village where the first resident used Skype two years ago to video conference with her family reunion that was in the Rocky Mountains. To get started, you’ll need:
